Atlassian JIRA Server和Atlassian JIRA Data Center都是澳大利亚Atlassian（Atlassian）公司的产品。Atlassian JIRA Server是一套缺陷跟踪管理系统的服务器版本。该系统主要用于对工作中各类问题、缺陷进行跟踪管理。Atlassian JIRA Data Center是Atlassian JIRA的数据中心版本。Jira Importers Plugin（JIM）是其中的一个文件/数据导入插件。
Atlassian JIRA Server和Data Center中的Jira Importers Plugin存在代码注入漏洞。该漏洞源于外部输入数据构造代码段的过程中，网络系统或产品未正确过滤其中的特殊元素。攻击者可利用该漏洞生成非法的代码段，修改网络系统或组件的预期的执行控制流。以下产品及版本受到影响：Atlassian JIRA Server 7.6.16之前的7.0.10版本，7.13.8之前的7.7.0版本，8.1.3之前的8.0.0版本，8.2.5之前的8.2.0版本，8.3.4之前的8.3.0版本，8.4.1之前的8.4.0版本；Data Center 7.6.16之前的7.0.10版本，7.13.8之前的7.7.0版本，8.1.3之前的8.0.0版本，8.2.5之前的8.2.0版本，8.3.4之前的8.3.0版本，8.4.1之前的8.4.0版本。
